Over on the Anno 2070 wiki we're thinking of moving from comments to talk pages and setting-up a forum instead. (Various pages are being inundated with discussions in the comments sections that would be more suited to a forum. Worse is when the same or similar question is asked and answered on multiple pages.)

Major issue: Doing so thwacks the comments into non-existence. (Well, at least in the sense that they aren't displayed anymore.) Is there any possible way to move the comments to the new Talk pages? I'm not above scripting this with pywikipedia, I just need to know if it's even feasible.

I think all I really need is to understand exactly how comment pages are named. (Comment...pages...seriously. Bloody NIGHTMARE when trying to patrol recent changes.) --Cphoenix (talk) 20:30, December 30, 2011 (UTC)
