I started a wiki a few days ago, and I wanted to start creating classes for tables in the Common.css file. I started by trying to edit the "infobox" class, and that's where I started being in trouble, since none of the changes I make seem to work. Yes, I have emptied the cache — I actually emptied it manually, and when it still wouldn't work, I went to a different computer that didn't have any page of the wiki cached at all so far, and still no use. Even a simple change such as changing to to "float:left" doesn't seem to do anything. The thing is, the class infobox does something, just not what the CSS says it should. Does anyone know what could be the issue here ?

PS: just in case anyone wants to check; here's my sandbox over there where I've been trying to make various infoboxes just for the sake of it.

Thanks in advance for your help. (And if it renders properly for you, feel free to tell me that I'm crazy and/or an idiot. I am aware I am, for the biggest part, a novice). Alarielle Fighting fate ! 23:29, October 10, 2012 (UTC)

@import "/load.php?mode=articles&only=styles&articles=MediaWiki:Common.css";
To the start of MediaWiki:Wikia.css. Common.css only affects Monobook by default. As for the infobox, you need to use .WikiaArticle .infobox for the styles to work on the table tag itself (Wikia's Oasis stylesheets force the infobox style using this selector, you need to match or exceed it to override).
