Hello to whoever reads this page,

I'm wondering how to fix the images at the bottom of each page. It's the "Read More" Area and it shows the first picture on the three pages that are in the same category as the page that is being viewed. Here's an example: Type 97 Grenade

Anyway, I sometimes add a template like this to pages that either are incomplete, have redlinks, etc. The thing is, when the page with the template is in the Read More section of another page, it shows the template picture and not the one from the page. This kind of bugs me and I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this or plainly remove the Read More Section. Another question of mine is if there's any way to remove the external sponsor links section at the bottom of every page which I really don't know why, but when you're logged in, you can't see it. Along with in-text advirtising and other annoying pop-ups. If anybody can answer one of these questions, I'd be so happy.

You cannot change what image is picked for the "Read More" section, but the entire thing can be removed with
#WikiaArticle .RelatedPagesModule {display:none}
if added to MediaWiki:Common.css. As for removing external sponsor links it is possible, but I think it would be a Terms of Use violation. --Dser (wall | email) 01:07, 12/5/2011
It's advised to remove this feature via Wiki Features/Labs instead of CSS. Also, Common.css doesn't affect the Wikia skin. Sovq 07:21, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
Sovq, thank you for informing me about my error. I must have accidentally typed in the wrong page. I meant Wikia.css. Also, I don't think the "Read More" section is in Wiki Features.

You're right, "Read More" indeed isn't listed in the Wiki Features. I could have sworn it saw it there at some point though. Sovq 13:32, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
I think it was in Wiki Features before it became global. I remember before the Admin Dashboard, there was a header reading, "Graduates of Wiki Labs" on Special:WikiFeatures, and the "Read More" section was included underneath. --Dser (wall | email) 21:53, 12/5/2011
Well the Read More Section isn't the only thing to leave Wiki Features as I really thought I saw other features that left before I decided to turn them on. Fargo84 23:58, December 5, 2011 (UTC)
Another posible answer might be to, before the start of the infobox or whatever template, insert the image you want in a hidden div. I believe this extension picks the first image, so that might change it. —Airhogs777 WCB WS 03:50, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
