I'm trying to add:

<noinclude>{{Wiki banner bottom}}</noinclude>

to a preload template to load into a new page, so that the banner comes up on the new page. Unfortunately I can't put that line of code into the template, since it "noincludes" it on preload. Is there a way to do this?

No. Wikia does not support "noinclude" in preloads. Wait until your wiki is upgraded with the new MediaWiki that Wikia is rolling out. "1.16" is the old version most wikis are running "1.19" is the new version coming along, that supports noincludes in preloads. 70.24.251.208 07:55, June 16, 2012 (UTC)
