Okay, I started a wiki about chemistry, hoping to make a systematic reference so people could get specifics on something they wanted to do in seconds, instead of crawling the web for hours trying to find something that isn't there in the first place, or paying for an entire college class or something. I was hoping users would help me find out two things in particular: what happened one time when I mixed acetone and vinegar, and what it would take to produce organic polymers at home. I feel the latter has major environmental and economic implications.

So I made two pages and then realized that I had no idea what I was doing, and I probably should have asked someone else to handle this from the start. If anyone is willing to administer the site for me, I'd gladly let them take over.

A link to the wiki would be usefull for anybody interested in it to be able take a look. There is probably other similar projects about which you could merge with and What If questions are the sort of thing you can ask at Wiki Answers.
