I have a question.
If a wiki that does not have many users has a user that is an excellent contributor, but violates some policies (e.g. Chat ban rules), should he be banned, even if he never comes back? Energy X ∞ 22:21, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Not even Wikipedia got that one figured out.--PedroM 00:32, November 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Should they be banned? That is up to you, or the administration. Use your judgement and try to come to a sensible decision. Perhaps giving the user a block with a short expiration date would be helpful. --Plasma (Talk) 01:15, November 20, 2012 (UTC)
No, if he has only violated Chat policies, he should only be blocked from the chat - indefinitely sounds like a good block duration. It makes sense, and it is what generally happens with real life lawbreaking. -452 18:45, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
