Hi members, please help me check my wikia.js. It has an error and make me so worried about these days, here: c:vi.phineasandferb:MediaWiki:Wikia.js
Spancountdown at main page and this c:vi.phineasandferb:Template:Movie countdown that show '''** Invalid Date **'''.
- Well, the first thing is that you haven;t used all of the spans required. If you read the instructions in the js, it gives you the code you need. I've added them for you, but am still looking at your code.
Eladkse, I don't understand, I have view the recent Forum Wikia.js in other languages by Aislinghope, I see this c:testcss:MediaWiki:Wikia.js which is the same as my wiki. Why this c:testcss:Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across 2nd Dimension Countdown do work easily but my c:vi.phineasandferb:Template:Movie countdown shows ** Invalid Date ** although those code spans are similar? •♪•♪•♪• Xiao Qiao (☎ leave a message ♪) 12:35, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
Countdown timers using that .js seem to be broken. Before they weren't counting up (understandable), now they don't work at all. --Callofduty4 12:39, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know what your issue is, but I will suggest updating your code to the latest version here.
- I don't understand what you mean CoD4 by saying 'Countdown timers using that .js seem to be broken'. My wiki's countdown seems to work fine with the latest code.
- There is some evidence that JS behavior is not consistent across all wikis. I did some testing with two very new wikis and they exhibited different behavior for a time. It could be that JS changes are being cached and not delivered correctly and consistently between wikis. Wikia has had lots of problems with image caching (that cannot be corrected by any end user action) and so other types of caching problems are not out of the realm of possibility. -- (talk · contr) 23 Aug 2011 9:46 PM Pacific
