Adoption requests Brazilian Dragon Ball Wiki

What is your username? Sandubadear

Please link to the wiki here: http://pt-br.dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Wiki

How many edits have you made on that wiki? 200

How many days/months have you been editing there? About a week

On the Special Pages → Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? 01:24, January 1, 2014, SbdDBZ

Any other information: I want to start fixing this wiki because there's almost no information on it. I asked the admin of the English Dragon Ball Wiki and he said I could ask for admin rights so it would be easier. I also need help from the Wikia Helpers. I sent a few requests but no one replied.

Hi! One of the critical requirements for adopting a wiki is 1 solid week of active editing (i.e. making new pages, fixing up articles, adding content, building the wiki). By editing at least every day or two while you wait for this request to be processed, (which ranges from 7-10 days), you should meet that requirement. It doesn't have to be a lot of edits each day, it is just the *frequency* of the edits that Staff needs to see, to show your investment and commitment to the wiki. Happy editing. :) Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
Ok then, I'll wait one week. {{SUBST:User:Sandubadear/sig2}} 19:42, December 26, 2014 (UTC)

Well, it's not just waiting 1 week, it's editing during that time too. :) Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)

If Portuguese is the language used on the wiki then should this request be submitted on the Portuguese adoption request form? --LêgêndFPŠ wall

"Technically" yes, but since the title states "Brazilian", and there isn't a Community Central directly for that nation, it can be done here, I believe. (?) Correct me if I'm wrong. Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)

Upon research, it can be done here, on this wiki. Just remember to actively edit! :) Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)

Well, this is only for Brazil. Other adoptions in other languages might be different. Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
Hm, I didn't even know that there was a Portuguese Community. I may use that later, though that is for Portugal and not Brazil. {{SUBST:User:Sandubadear/sig2}} 18:19, December 27, 2014 (UTC)
The initial response by Legend is correct; this request needs to be made on the Portuguese adoption request form. That page is for all Portuguese language requests -- both pt and pt-br.
Joseph linked an old request (over a year old in fact) that was made at a time when we did not have Portuguese language support. At that time the requests were handled here, but this is no longer the case.
Good luck with your adoption! -- Wendy (talk@Wikia 02:53, January 5, 2015 (UTC)
