Adoption requests Dan Vs Wiki

What is your username? BarkingChaos

Please link to the wiki here:

How many edits have you made on that wiki? 211 and counting

How many days/months have you been editing there? Since December 20, 2012

On the Special Pages -> Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it?

Curly-BraceXD-Her last major contribution was on December 12, 2012, she made a few "contributions" since, but they were just answering a question I had and telling someone in the comments to not put opinions on the wiki and reverting the edit. That was around December 23.

Any other information:

I realize I am stretching what it means of 60 day requirement of innactivity, but the wiki has suddenly become plagued by vandals (however, since posting this originally and now, that seems to have calmed down) and I am the only registered user who actively edits the wiki. We desperately need an admin to combat this. I can't keep contacting the VSTF. I have already posted a comment on a blog post from last year saying I am interested in becoming an admin, but have yet to hear back and I am not holding my breath. If I am eligible to adopt, but you feel that I have not waited long enough for the admin to be innactive, I would like to request for this to be put on hold until then if possible.

If you decide to grant me admin/beurocratic powers, I do have a concern that the current admin may come back and ban me out of spite, even though I just want what is best for the wiki and the current admin is not online enough to provide it. Is this something she could do? I am sorry for the tone of this previously. It was mostly written out of frustration having had just battled three days of vandals.

Thank you for your time.

Hi. Yes she could come back and block you, although I don't really see any evidence to suggest she would. It looks like she has not logged into Wikia at all in the past few weeks, so perhaps she is busy with real-world stuff at the moment.
In terms of the adoption, I see several other (non-vandal) contributors besides yourself who have been active in the past month. I realize that you put your name up on CurlyBrace's admin log, but that was not set up to encourage discussion. Please start a blog or forum of your own about additional leadership for the wiki. This will let everyone discuss the issue, vote on new leaders, etc. Please give us a link to the conversation and we'll check back in a week or so (at which point the 60 days will also be up). -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 03:56, February 14, 2013 (UTC)

I have made a blog post as you have instructed

So it seems as though the admin replied to a message left on her wall about a vandal basically only saying someone else took care of it. She hasn't responded to either my blog post or her own. At this point, I'm not really sure what to think. But this means I'm ineligible now regardless, doesn't it? I really hope that's not the case, but if it is, thank you for you time. I'm sorry I've been a bit dense through this process. I'm sort of new to the whole thing. BarkingChaos (talk) 15:04, February 20, 2013 (UTC)

No. You're fine. One talk page message in two months does not completely disqualify you. I have left her a message about promoting new admins; let's see what (if anything) she says. -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 04:10, March 3, 2013 (UTC)
I'm glad you got the admin rights - have fun with the wiki! -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 03:32, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
