How many edits have you made on that wiki? 146

How many days/months have you been editing there? 3 days

On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? 3/11/2015: jh1234l

Any other information:

jh1234l is regularly inactive, and the last time he edited before the two times he edited on March 11th was on January 19th.

The wiki is in desperate need of monitoring and is a constant place for anonymous attacks on people.

I'm a member of the site the wiki is made for (http://debate.org/), and I am currently forming a group of members that will work to fix the wiki (http://www.debate.org/forums/debate.org/topic/64895/ ), which has never been properly monitored, edited, and so forth. The group currently has 10 people who have signed up.

The head moderator of the site the wiki is made for said this to me about it, when he found I was attempting to fix it: "in all seriousness though, the wiki is a huge project with lots of issues... so genuinely, good luck." (http://www.debate.org/forums/debate.org/topic/64967/1#1933668 )

I realize that it would be odd to give someone who's only been on the wiki for two days admin rights, but it would be very helpful for making sure it does not devolve any further. Rather, I plan on seeing it fixed and made into something that looks decent, instead of it simply being a host for people to attack others.

Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)
Hi! Staff generally like to consistent editing; every day or two for at least a week. Continue editing from this point forward, and you should be fine by the time Staff review this request. There is also a few other editors at the wiki, so you need to get a community concensus -- whether they are part of your team or not. Create a blog post or forum thread, then let it run for a week so users can state their support or opposition. Be sure to link to the post in your request. I made a thread on the site the wiki is made about for showing support: http://www.debate.org/forums/debate.org/topic/65005/ —This unsigned comment is by 1harderthanyouthink (wallcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Hello. Thanks for contacting Wikia. Because he has been minimally active, please ask User:Jh1234 about gaining admin rights and let him know that you plan to adopt the wikia if he does not object. He can promote you himself if he wishes to do so, through the Special:UserRights page. Please keep editing and if he does not respond after a week leave me a message on my wall and I can promote you to sysop. -- Wendy (talk@Wikia 03:39, March 24, 2015 (UTC)
I've given you the rights -- good luck with the wikia! -- Wendy (talk@Wikia 04:49, April 14, 2015 (UTC)
