Any other information:
I know the admin has been on in the last 60 days, but the reason I'm requesting a new one is because they don't do anything. They log on once every few months, make one or two edits, then disappear. They don't delete pages we've put in the deletion candidates or listen to any of our requests, they just make minor edits then leave. - Hello. I'm sorry, but with the bureaucrat active (and he did quite a lot of editing even if it was not the editing you hoped for) in the last month, the wikia is not eligible for adoption. Have you tried asking him directly to appoint an additional user to handle day-to-day maintenance?
- When he has been inactive for 30 days (so in about a week), it would be possible to promote a single user to sysop; however, there would need to be a community discussion about which user to promote and everyone would need to agree on who it should be. A message about the community picking an additional admin with a link to the discussion would need to be left for the bureaucrat. Feel free to message me on my wall in a week if the community has done that and the bureaucrat remains inactive. -- Wendy (talk) 04:58, November 7, 2014 (UTC)
