How long have you been editing? Since Feb 13, 2014

On the Special Pages → Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? RaidenX, March 9

Any other information: I've been editing at the wiki for awhile now, and I've requested to multiple admins about possibly giving me administrative rights, but I haven't received a response from any of them. I've had lots of experience with the rights, and think I'd be a good fit for them. I also put up a blog about electing users for it, just in case any others would like to receive rights as well. I appreciate it and hope you get back to me soon!  Randomized (wall)

This wiki is ineligible, as RaidenX is still active. --Tupka217 23:03, March 29, 2014 (UTC)

As per Tupka, in order to adopt a wiki, no admins could have edited within the past two months. It appears that two admins have edited within the past few days. If you wish to have rights, I suggest contacting Darth Wylind. City♥Lights45px-Wikia_Logo.svg.png 23:07, March 29, 2014 (UTC)
"But I haven't received a response from any of admins I inquired to" I contacted RaidenX around a month ago and he hasn't responded. No other admins have edited in the last 6 months, and Raiden himself couldn't give me any rights anyways.  Randomized (wall)
Irrelevant. 60 days is 60 days. When the 60 says have passed, try again. --Tupka217 23:15, March 29, 2014 (UTC)

Tupka, please be careful not to make predictions for the adoption team unless you're 100% certain they're true. 60 days is a guideline, not a rule, and Staff has been known to make exceptions. Randomized may have a chance, though Staff may forego the bureaucrat right and only promote him as administrator. I think it's happened in the past. Let's wait and see how this plays out. Yami, only one admin has edited the wiki recently: c:fanon:User:RaidenX, a non-bureaucrat, edited on March 8. c:fanon:User:Saffy Nurbs, an administrator and bureaucrat, edited April 16 - last year. Thisismyrofl (talk) 00:32, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

I'll concede that it's more "last day of editing plus two months, minus perhaps a week". Nobody really takes the time to count to 60, right? (stupid february). However, the nature of the edits usually doesn't matter. Also, the fact that he hasn't replied doesn't mean you get a shortcut either. The bureaucrat is still sort of active on Wikia, so perhaps messaging him/her does get a better result. --Tupka217 00:36, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

An admin who does not respond to their local community is *barely* administrating. Raiden took action in March, but did not reply to the editor to assure them their request was handled, the contributor having little way (there is a way, most users are unaware of it) to tell if their page protection level had been changed as requested. Leaving a contributor feeling unsure they were heard falls a bit short of "community building".

This *often* fits cases such as Rofl mentioned in which Staff determines *additional* admins are required. So this Request may also be so adjudged. Randomized, continue as you are. You've started a Blog and reached out to Darth. Continue editing while waiting for this to be evaluated.

However this shakes out, Good Luck! --Love Robin (talk) 03:46, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

RaidenX has edited once (and protected one page) in the last 5 months and is ignoring messages. The wikia itself has a very active community, and thus should probably have somebody with the tools to maintain it. In such cases we can promote one admin. You can request bureaucrat rights as well if RaidenX goes inactive for the full 60 days again.
However, the process for this requires that the community actually shows they want an admin. Which means that I need to see people actively saying they support Randomized's request on his blog; it's not enough in this case simply to receive no opposition.
Randomized -- please leave a new message for RaidenX with a link to your blog, explaining that you have requested staff to give you admin rights. And then please leave talk page messages for the most recently active users (you can sort Special:ListUsers by last edit date to get this) asking them to read and comment on the blog as well.
We will check back again and can promote you or, if preferred, another user there to be an admin. -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 04:12, April 11, 2014 (UTC)
Alright, Merry. Thanks for the reply! I've messaged multiple users and am still sorting through the list. I also left RaidenX the message. You can see the blog here. Thanks! -Randomized
I've gotten 2 replies so far, both in support, but around 5 people I messaged have been editing, but seem to be ignoring my message. {{SUBST:User:Randomized/Sig|03:31,4/13/2014}} 03:31, April 13, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the link -- I've given you admin rights. Good luck with it! -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 04:06, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
