How many edits have you made on that wiki? 854

How many days/months have you been editing there? 1 month and 12 days

On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? It was me, yesterday on August 19th. The other last edit was by the bureaucrat almost a month ago, but it was only two small edits. They seem to be neglecting the wiki and only editing once or twice every few months. Every other admin has stopped editing for months or even been inactive for over a year now, the admin list needs to be updated.

Any other information: The wiki has died down a lot since last month and it's uncommon to see anyone edit nowadays. I feel like I've been taking good care of the FurVilla wiki myself since then. I make edits almost every day, many of them are in fact large projects that help merge many pages. I fill in a lot of missing information, I keep lots of the pages organized and consistent and update old templates. I've added many new pages since I started editing and I've even edited the css of the wiki to update the appearance/theme of many pages.

I feel like the current bureaucrat isn't taking their job seriously anymore and on their profile:
They don't even consider themselves a mod. I had to personally message her off wikia to get admin status a few weeks ago because I couldn't get in contact with any other admins as almost all of them are now inactive. I feel like I could take even better care of the wiki as the new bureaucrat, as it feels like it really needs one right now.

Hi. Another admin, Cftcft9090, has in fact edited yesterday. You will have to ask them what they think about the adoption, or start a blog post or other public discussion about your intentions, and leave it for about a week to receive responses. A few of the other admins have also edited within the last 60 days. Only one has been inactive for over a year. You will also have to be editing consistently every 1-2 days for about a week before the request is reviewed. Good luck! RedstoneDemigod 19:24, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Since you're already an admin, you don't need to create a blog or forum to the whole community just to get bureaucrat rights. However, the bureaucrat would have to be inactive for at least 60 days to adopt the wiki, and you'll need to discuss the matter with the other admins that haven't been inactive for 60 days either. You'll have to wait another month before you can try for bureaucrat rights, assuming the bureaucrat doesn't edit again, and the only way to possibly make sure of that is to not contact her on that wiki or anywhere else about the wiki. Hopefully she stays inactive enough for you to adopt the wiki and she can't do anything about it. Sorry!--Annabeth and Percy~They say you gotta take the good with the bad. I'll take it all as long as I have you. 02:22, August 21, 2016 (UTC)
Hello. Annabeth and Percy is correct that the wiki is not eligible for adoption until the bureaucrat has been inactive for 60 days. You may ask again at the end of September if they have not edited further at that time. However, the only rights a bureaucrat has that an admin does not is to promote other users to admin. At least one other admin has edited in the past couple of weeks (Cftcft9090), and might be able to help you out with maintenance. But other active admins aside, you should have all the tools you need to work on the wiki. -- Wendy (talk@fandom 03:13, September 3, 2016 (UTC)
