What is your username?: Grunty89
Please link to the wiki here:
How many edits have you made on that wiki?: Over a 100 (106, to be exact*)
How many days/months have you been editing there?:Just over a year
On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it?: This user named "Smoke.", and on 18 February 2015
Any other information: No administrator has edited on this wiki for a few months already. As I feel said wiki needs a revamp, due to lots of copy-pasted content from Wikipedia, I have been trying my best to edit it as far as possible so that I can fix it up and make it look presentable. I have had years of experience as a bureaucrat, so I can try and help spruce the wiki up as far as I can. (this includes the creation of new pages) Besides, I have adopted a wiki before, and am routinely editing it. * - At the time of writing Grunty89I'm mad about science. 12:59, May 2, 2015 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Hi. Keep up your editing as you are now, (contributing good edits everyday or two) to the Wiki. Also, make sure to create at least one article page if you haven't already (more the better). Otherwise, you are doing good, just keep editing. Ripto (talk) 17:53, May 2, 2015 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Yikes, sorry to see that. Yeah, sadly since he made that edit, I don't think you can adopt the Wiki, but you can always try asking Smoke if you can gain rights since you are doing good for the Wiki. - Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)They aren't required to make any other users admins/bureaucrat if they don't want to, and if they are active on the Wiki. Active, just means, they've made an edit there recently. They don't have to be making heavy edits everyday to protect their position. Have you tried approaching them about becoming an admin? If you're contributing good edits, then asking kindly would be great. But it is no promise he will do it. Staff can't just look at this and give you rights because the bureaucrat is not as active as you are. You can see what they say when they see this, but I would recommend to ask the bureaucrat if you haven't already, or wait until he eats up the 60 day limit. Ripto (talk) 22:21, May 6, 2015 (UTC)
- Hello. JPDurzel cannot actually promote you himself, but because he supports your promotion and Smoke has just made a few minor edits since January, I would be willing to grant admin rights. There are other active contributors besides JPDurzel on the wikia as well, however, so please start a blog or forum about the adoption and please also leave a message for Smoke. Leave a message on my wall if he does not respond after a week and the other contributors support your request, and I can help with the rights. -- Wendy (talk) 13:38, May 8, 2015 (UTC)
