On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? TheTTCPerson Nov 22, 2015, however the founder has been away for even longer.
Any other information: My team currently uses the officialblackmidi.wikia.com wiki for our current projects as the old one has limited to no rights/privileges (the admin is completely inactive). Would I be able to also redirect the entire wiki to the Official Black MIDI one?
You'll need to be consistently editing on there for at least a week before you can adopt it. Before today, you haven't edited since November 16th, so make sure you edit at least once a day before Staff review this. You didn't put the name of the admin, so I added it for you. Assuming your adoption of impossible-music.wikia.com is successful, you can request to have impossible-music merged to officialblackmidi, which would move all content from impossible-music to officialblackmidi. If you do not want the content to be moved, you can request that impossible-music only redirect to officialblackmidi. However, you do need to be an admin on impossible-music.wikia.com to change anything regarding the URL (redirect or merge). Both merging and redirecting can be requested through Special:Contact/general. As stated by Annabeth and Percy above, you do need to edit every day or two up until the time Staff review your request to acquire admin rights on impossible-music. - Hello. What Dakota said was not right. You do not need to adopt this wikia in order to merge it with another one. In fact it makes no sense that you would do that, as editing a wikia (as required by adoption) merely to close it (which will lose that content) is a waste of effort.
- Please read Help:Merging wikias and follow the instructions there. You will need to transfer the content to the wikia where you already have adminship before requesting that this one be closed and the URL redirected through Special:Contact. Any content you transfer must use the export/import function so that the edit history is not lost.
