I have no idea whether this will be actively read or not and/or how this process works. But, I will try anyway.
From what I can figure our this Wiki was created on January 31, 2014 by Odie553 and nothing else. Then, 4 months later on May 2, he uploaded 1 picture. Sins then, over 5 months not, no activity at all on this site. I did see he logged-on on November 17, but why and where I don’t know. I left a message on his message wall, sins I cannot find another way of contacting him.
This Wiki had absolutely no content for 8 months, though I must say that game development also plays a part in this. Now I try to add content, but at the same time really getting annoyed, again and again, with messages like, “you are not allowed to…” and “only an Admin or bureaucrats…”. Even though some of these messages are misleading, sins HTML code does allow certain changes to be made, it will disable the Visual Editor and force any future contributions to be made or edited in code only, which is not very user friendly and I am desperately trying to avoid that.
It is possible however, from what I’ve read, that this wiki is running on outdated editing tools, or something like that, sins the examples that are given on “How to…” do not correspond with the tools that are currently available on this wiki, disregarding the specially written “advanced” tools. For the site to be updated a request has to be made, however, only an Admin can make such a request.
Creating a site without a pre-made theme is also very risky sins it will most likely result in having to redo every single page. Recoding complicated HTML to wiki code, to re-enable the Visual Editor, tripled the time needed to create a single page, so I stopped doing that too.
If Admin-ship or adoption needs reviewing, fine. But at least give me some preliminary elevated rights for editing other than text or a crappy table conform wiki-code. Also take in advice that I am literally asking to adopt a (till recently) completely empty, non contributed to, without a single page for over 8 months, wiki.
