Adoption requests Kiznaiver Wikia (2)

What is your username? Okaminarutofan999

How many edits have you made on that wiki? 265+

How many days/months have you been editing there? Around 3 days.

On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? Mogekov. They last edited on October 20th, 2015.

Any other information: I came across this Wiki after just recently watching the anime, and noticed how incomplete it is.

All character pages are stubs, most episode pages haven't been made, templates need to be re-made, and the Wiki in itself could be re-designed, since the current purple color of the navigation bar, links, and templates doesn't exactly fit the series.

After noticing how incomplete the Wiki is, I checked to see if there were any admins around, but checking for the admin led to no results. I actually had to look at the history of the main page to finally find the founder, who only edited the main page three times and then just suddenly left.

Since editing on Wiki's is pretty much my hobby, I already have a lot of things planned for the Wiki.

I really would like to help the Wiki grow, but there are certain things I can only do as an admin.

For example: Fixing the navigation bar.

The navigation bar is a mess, as it only links to character pages and another page that claims to be "About the anime" but it's not. The first thing I'd do is make links direct to the right pages and add new links to it so it'll be easier for users to navigate around the Wiki.

Right now, I'm having to go on Special:AllPages just to find some pages, which is a real hassle.

Second of all, I want to give the Wiki a more "reddish" theme to fit the logo. I'd also like to give the Wiki a new background, as the current one is cut off and not the best quality.

I'm also working on making gallery pages for the episodes and characters, since that has not been done yet.

I'm not the BEST at writing out information, but I will try my best to add more to the character pages.

I have experience as an admin on SEVERAL different Wiki's, and I would love to be more of help here.

As of now, the Wiki is left unprotected from potential future vandals. Of course, I can undo the edits, but I can't block them, so this is a rather big problem. The main page needs to be protected ASAP.

I know I haven't been editing for a week, but I will have by the time Staff responds to this.

I've also noticed that there are a few occasional other users who edit, so I made a blog post asking for their opinions. Hopefully I'll get some kind of response.

You're supposed to create an adoption request AFTER you meet all the requirements, but I get it. All of your stuff looks good. I hope you get accepted!

A lot of people make adoption requests before they reach the one week mark and it ends up just fine because they end up reaching the requirement once staff gets to their requests. It's all good, haha. ~Okaminarutofan999

Right. You only have to make at least one edit a day, and that's what I do. I make an edit or two and create the adoption, with the intention to make more edits throughout the request. I call it a strategy. Good luck!--Annabeth and Percy🎵I hear the bells, they're ringing loud and clear. You can't help but love this time of year. It's Christmas time, there's something in the air. There's a little bit of Heaven everywhere.🎵 02:07, January 3, 2017 (UTC)

UPDATE: Nobody has commented on my adoption blog as of yet.

There was another user who apparently wanted to be an admin, as they asked the founder if they could be promoted, but of course they didn't get a response.

I instead responded that if I successfully adopted the Wiki and if they remained active, I would promote them, which they agreed to.

However, one or two days after that the person never edited again.

Hello. Thanks for trying to talk to the new contributor. I've given you the rights. good luck with the wiki! -- Wendy (talk@fandom 04:29, January 13, 2017 (UTC)
