Adoption requests LSDREAM EMULATOR Wiki

What is your username? DragonTamerMCT

Please link to the wiki here: http://lsdreamemulator.wikia.com

How many edits have you made on that wiki? 4

How many days/months have you been editing there? Nearly 3 years according to the stats.

On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? Two admins. One in 2011, one in 2013. Lolster1 and Suprememessage respectively.

Any other information: I already Admin the other wiki for the game ( http://dreamemulator.wikia.com/wiki/LSD:_Dream_Emulator_Wiki ) And have been doing so for several years now. It's noteworthy that the title to this wiki (the one I'm seeking adoption for) is misspelled. It's missing a D.

I'd be interested in merging it in the future, but right now just adoption. The community is small so it would probably be best not to fragment it (Though as I said, it's misspelled and quite hard to find on google). Though currently I feel merging it would be of little benefit.

Also unrelated, but is there any way to get the 'power' of a page creator? Since the page creator (to my knowledge) can never be un-admined. I doubt they'll ever come back, but it's always a bit of a worry wondering if they'll come back and just troll a bit. Not sure whether they could un-admin myself. Just a question. (IE If the original creator came back, could they remove the person that adopted it in a rogue act?)

---

Also to clarify, the reason I have so few edits is as it is a duplicate wiki with a misspelled name. If you check the other I have hundreds. Just figured I'd clarify.

Unofficial response (Please wait for an official response by Fandom Staff):

You'll need to actively editing on the wiki if you want to adopt it for whatever reason. You haven't edited on there in over two years. You will need to start editing at least once a day before Staff review this. You'll also need to make at least one page. But Lolster1 did log in recently, so you can try to message him and see if he'll give you rights. If not, meaning that he doesn't respond to you, good luck with this adoption then!--Annabeth and Percy~The present is our future past, we've gotta make this moment last right now. 23:07, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Rights for anybody who last edited over a year ago are removed as part of the adoption process, including the founder if they have been gone for over a year. Last login does not matter in this respect; just last edit.
That said, your reasons for adopting the wikia, as stated both here and on your on-wikia blog, are murky at best. You don't need to adopt it to merge it into the other wikia for the subject. If you wish to create a wikia for fanon-type content on the subject, then you should start working on that in order to be eligible to adopt this one. However, given the spelling errors in the URL, it's not obvious to me why you would not simply start a properly named wikia for that type of content. If your goal is to shut down the wikia, then that is not an acceptable reason to adopt a wikia.
I'm going to close this request. If you want to start building the wikia in a positive way, even if it's just to clean it up, then you would be eligible to adopt it. But you cannot gain rights without any intent to improve or build it. -- Wendy (talk 15:27, March 18, 2016 (UTC)
