I've been a moderator on the League of Legends wikia (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki) since August 4, 2014, mostly dealing with page/file organizing and vandalism. I would like to be at least a moderator on Millennium War Aigis wiki, since it has no active staff members and no staff members besides the founder, who has since gone inactive with only 30 edits. For the most part, the wiki editors do a good job at taking care of it, but there are still many situations where a moderator's privileges are required, either to delete pages/inappropriate comments or to better organize things. Of course, having an administrator/bureaucrat there would be even better, since then further assigning of staff members would no longer need to be done through community central.
Well, first of all, you did not need to make a new page to fix the title. You could've easily done that on the first by pressing the down arrow next to where you press Edit and then press rename. Second, it looks like there are a lot of other users, so you would need to make either a blog or a forum to let them know that you're attempting to adopt the wiki and get their opinions on it. You should also post a link to it as well. Other than that, you look good. Users on the wiki already pondered this question (it's how I first heard of the adoption policy, I used to think the only way to circumvent lack of local staff was to appeal directly to staff here at community central here on their message walls), but the person suggested for moderation refused on grounds of not being sure whether he'd have the time and interest to do it properly. I also brought up the issue a couple of times in the comments, when the situation called for moderation (such as when a user would post a comment they would later want deleted). - Great that the issue has been discussed. Could you leave a message on my wall with a link to the discussion about new admins? If you didn't state there that you intended to adopt the wikia, please start a new blog or forum and give it about a week for everybody to see and comment on it. To be honest, I would recommend that at least two admins be chosen - there are a lot of active contributors on that wikia. -- Wendy (talk) 04:25, March 8, 2016 (UTC)
