Also, two bureaucrats - while not active - have recently logged into Wikia on 31 December 2014. You could request bureaucrat rights from them if you ask on their message walls as this can be faster then waiting for an adoption request to be processed. Good luck! -- 14:01, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Although a bureaucrat "technically" edited within the past 60 days, a single message wall post doesn't really constitute as an edit (in the same sense as a mainspace edit) or make them active. As for the other active admins, if they, and the rest of the community, agree to Dadaw receiving bureaucrat rights then the request should become eligible. Is this correct? -- 15:24, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)It's somewhat correct. I have seen adoptions made ineligible because of bureaucrats responding to messages. I'm not entirely sure in this case, but I think the best course would be to make a blog announcing his desire to receive bureaucratic rights, contact the "active bureaucrat," and then see what Staff says when they respond to this request.
