Any other information: I haven't been actively editing in a while, but I plan on starting later. By the time a staff member sees this I will be actively editing. The homepage needs a huge revamp. It needs renamed to Moshi Monsters Answers rather than Moshi monsters Answers. Administration rights would help me perform both these actions.Luke the Mac Lover (talk)
I also got blocked on wikis because I was accused of being under-aged, and it all started at the Gravity Falls wiki. If you explain your block, staff will check your contributions and come to a conclusion on whether you can adopt or not. I also got blocked on the Awkward Wiki and the block reason is completely false. I am not under-aged, I was innocent at first and always wanted to stay in that position, but other users had to make ME the bad guy.
Anyway, this is not a place to discuss blocks we all had on Wikia. But, being blocked on a wiki doesn't mean you can't adopt, as long as there's not a very good reason for the block, and you can explain it to staff. - IvyLover (talk | contribs) 18:49, October 12, 2014 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)With that being an answers wiki and you knowing everything you need to know about the topic, I believe Staff can open an exception in this case. (The Great Lord David (talk) 20:19, October 12, 2014 (UTC))
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Some answers wikis really don't like people asking questions just to answer them themselves, but you can probably make a page in a different namespace which counts towards the "new page" total. The adoption guidelines don't specify mainspace pages! Have you created any category pages (to link categories into the category tree) or any template pages? They're easy ones to make, but contribute a lot to the structure and organisation of a wiki. 02:28, October 17, 2014 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Yes, I've definitely have created many templates and categories in my time. I've always thought of you having to create mainspace pages, but maybe not. Joe is definitely the Adoption master here, so whatever he says normally is the right answer. AwesomeOrange89 (talk)
- Hello. For adoption we are interested in having people create content pages, not just templates or categories. Luke, you have made a good start to editing but will need to keep at it for at least a few more days in order to be eligible to adopt. There are plenty of un-answered questions to work on, and there is no problem with asking a question and answering it if you feel it is something people may want to know. I will put this request on hold. Please remind me on my wall to check again early next week. -- Wendy (talk) 17:12, October 17, 2014 (UTC)
