How many edits have you made on that wiki? Roughly 130.
How many days/months have you been editing there? About half a month.
On the Special Pages → Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? I have no idea who the original admin/founder is. When I first found the Wikia, it was old and unused and had only three pages, all of which were terrible. The homepage history states that it was created on the 12th April 2012 by the CreateScriptWiki and soon edited by PhoenixFan98 (who no longer exists). Since then, there has been one other editor called Thokul who only edited the three pages back in early 2013. Then it was abandoned.
Any other information:
As a very dedicated fan, I've taken it upon myself to expand this Wiki as much as possible. It is especially important as the new Phoenix Nights Live show is upcoming in the new year. We need an admin who can make the important decisions and the only active member is myself.
- If it helps you to make your decision- I am juggling with work for the next week. I'm a teacher, you see, and so I've been focusing on marking these end of term tests. That's why I've not been editing as I usually would. Also, I've adopted many previous successful Wikias including the Dinnerladies Wiki (which is now complete, to my knowledge) and I was an important member of the Miranda Wiki (the BBC programme) before leaving others to update it. I only wanted to set that one up so that it could stand on its own two feet. I left it in the very capable hands of the fanbase and people I trusted.
- I also help regularly with the TARDIS Wiki and with a couple of other Wikis. Once this week is out of the way, my full attention is on the Phoenix Nights Wiki. I'm slightly up against it as there's a new Phoenix Nights Live Show coming out early next year and that's why I want to adopt this Wiki. I want it to be the best it can ready for the insurge of fans wanting to either check it out or edit without anyone to control all the incorrect edits. Once the programme's out there, there'll be nothing to stop the constant troll editors from editing/defacing complete pages. That's why certain, complete pages need to be locked.
- Just an insight into the main reasons for why the Wiki needs an admin and why I would be a suitable candidate. :) TheFartyDoctor Talk 23:29, December 16, 2014 (UTC)
