How many days/months have you been editing there? For over an year, cleaned up the pages, updated a lot, changed main page, added graphical elements ...
On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? Listed Admin did not edit within the last couple of months.

Had discussion with CzechInn from Wikia team how to make this page more appealing. He considered me to be a kind of Admin. Lot of the proposals have been implemented now. But now somebody needs to protect sites from vandalism, spam, and users who try to undo the changes etc..... Still I want to keep this WIKI as open as it can, because i need the edits of many local users.
Hey. Right now, there appears a few other contributors at this wiki. If they continue to contribute, according to the adoption guidelines, it is required that the adopting user make a blog/forum post/announcement of some sort explaining their intentions to adopt on an active wiki, so other users on the wiki can give their input, and comment on the leadership change. If you have already made one, please link it, and if not, you should create one, then link it. If there is a consensus amongst the users for you to receive the rights, then you'll be eligible to adopt.

UPDATE: OK. I added a Blog in which I applied for an "adoption": here. But given the nature of this WIKI, I don't expect much feedback, as we don't link the Blogs to the main page and users mostly edit national chapters/articles.
The old admin and founder of this WIKI called "Joskarsson" has been inactive for more than 2 years now: Contributions/Joskarsson. I was not able to contact him. It would be bad, if this WIKI can't be safeguarded as there is no admin. Still, we've moved to #50 on the lifestyle charts attracting not only good attention.
