I'm the admin of http://zh.pad.wikia.com , the Chinese wiki of the same title. It's also the leading Chinese wiki in Wikia (over 2 million page views per day). You may check my work at Contributions/Sammylau. My role is to setup new templates and page styles there.
I'm planning to port the whole wiki from Chinese to English. The Chinese wiki is actually targeting the Japanese version of P&D game. As the official English version is released, me and several guys playing the game has the plan the translate and port our fully developed wiki to English. Check our discussion here (Although the replies are mainly Chinese)
The existing P&D English wiki is silence for nearly 2 months. If it's a strict code to wait for the 60 days, please review this request a few days later.
I hope to get Bureaucrat right in order to start up the rebuild process because:
- Import the existing 1000+ pages into the wiki and start the translation work with my new recruited team. I think copy & paste a thousands pages manually is just a waste of time. And that's the major reason I haven't touched the existing contents
- I need to edit the MediaWiki namespace to write javascript and css to make the templates/verbatim to work
- I'll appoint some new admins to maintain it
- Given this admin's history of fair and hard work on the ultra-successful ZH wiki plus the time-sensitive matter of getting this wiki going, I have gone ahead and granted this request. --DaNASCAT (help forum | blog) 23:27, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
