Any other information:
This wiki is in its infancy. I suspect that our founder is a school kid who has abandoned the site, and our other admin does not seem to have much interest. If granted admin/bureaucrat rights I intend to immediately grant them to our biggest contributor Mogiks, who is extremely active in our little community, so that we do not have these issues again. I myself am regularly on, though my edits tend to be organizational(admitted grammar and spelling Nazi). It would be of great benefit if we were capable of handling the minor details like stub removal or color scheme changes without having to rely on those who seem to have shirked those responsibilities at present. Thank you for your time, and hope to hear from you soon

I see you've messaged the bureaucrat requesting admin rights and unfortunately they've yet to respond. -- 10:58, December 12, 2014 (UTC)
- Unofficial response: (Please wait for an official response by a staff member)Since you have chosen to directly ask for the rights, you might want to take a look at "I Want to Be an Admin", a blog written by Sannse that is extremely helpful and full of advice when desiring rights on a wiki. I appreciate the responses, and realize that my request may seem a bit premature based on the standard guidelines for adoption. I decided to risk jumping the gun because I believe our community has extenuating circumstances, namely that our founder abandoned the page nine days after its creation, and our only other admin two days later. Though it appears that our second admin still checks in, he/she appears to have no input, and our only bureaucrat has now been completely absent longer than he/she was present. I can see that I may be coming across as power hungry, and it is possible that may be a contributing factor in my eagerness. I can say, however, that any such feelings on my part are derived from a desire to see our little wiki flourish and grow. I can only see that the people who were supposed to be caring for us have dropped the ball, and I am trying to pick it up. I don't care about tags, or signature appendages, or whatever other bits of unimportant fluff come with admin/bureaucratship. I do not care if it is me who adopts this wiki. All I want is for a few people who are regularly active to have the ability to do whatever needs to be done for our community. I am volunteering, that's all —This unsigned comment is by Sylvanis Noctura (wall • contribs) 01:00, December 14, 2014 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- Hi Sylvanis. Joseph and Legend are correct; the admins must be inactive 30 days before we can give out admin rights, and 60 days before we can give out full bureaucrat +admin rights. However any promotion will require a community discussion first; by the time that is done it will have been 30 days since the last admin edited.
- You haven't edited the wikia much since your last reply here, so the first thing to do is to start editing again.
- The other is to start a community discussion (a blog or forum) about gaining admin rights, and encourage anybody who is editing to comment. Please also leave a message with a link to the blog on both admin's walls. I can give one person admin rights - it can be you or Mogiks or whoever else the community chooses. I will put this request on hold. By the time the blog/forum has been up for a week the admins will have been inactive for 30 days. Please leave a message on my wall with a link to the discussion and I will be happy to promote whoever is chosen at that time. -- Wendy (talk) 06:49, December 23, 2014 (UTC)
