Adoption requests The Cult of the Great Duckieness Wiki

What is your username? The Great Duck INH

Please link to the wiki here:

How many edits have you made on that wiki? Several over the years including the creation of most of the writing pieces (under the name Insert Name Here [not a wikia account])

How many days/months have you been editing there? Since mid-2013. There weren't any encyclopedic sections at the beginning so it mostly consisted of transferring writing.

On the Special Pages → Special:ListAdmins when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? Lukasmah on April 19th. He was revising a chapter of his.

Any other information:

The wiki currently has around 50-60 pages for various things in the story most of which incomplete. (Found under the incomplete category). My goal is to get those filled in with as much as we have available from the story. My second goal is to replace that God-awful background someone used as a spambot (an image of a spambot, not a spambot making images). I'm currently drawing it off and on. My third goal is to get formatting changes made so that extra functionality (countdown timers, rotating image boxes, etc.) can be added to the main page. I am also (regardless of adminship) partially revise the formatting rules for pages slightly so that it looks nicer while adding rules to prevent people from drawing correlations such as "x person likes y character" since obviously any writer or person isn't necessarily going to prefer the side their characters are on.

Anyway, I hope you accept my request and add me as moderator.

Hello. Your contributions look good but you only edited on two days. In order to adopt the wikia you will need to edit every day or two for at least a week. Please start editing again and leave me a message on my wall to check back after a week. -- Wendy (talk@fandom 05:17, July 24, 2015 (UTC)

But I have edited more than a week? I've been on the site for years. Is it because I went inactive. I understand I haven't had much to contribute, but to be frank there isn't much one can do for a full week straight. There are articles on the wiki that need to be written but the only thing really left is to fill in details. There isn't any major or minor structural portions left to edit. So the only thing left is to essentially sit and write articles. That's it. Now I understand that that is most likely the point of wikia but there's a point at which one can't write any more. You have to realize that I'm not just writing virtually every single of these articles. I've also writtin most of the work it's about (and still am). I log in almost every single day and check the site to make sure everything is okay with it (nobody messed with it), but honestly, I just get burnt out on writing the articles. If there was more to deal with I'd edit a ton more, but all there is right now is to write, and I'd be better of writing new content rather than trying to fill in articles with information that is vague at best. I'll try to get more editing done but there are no guarantees.
