Any other information: Admin Topics Hello, I founded/adopted The Pretender wiki (can't remember which, it has been so long) and somehow got booted from sysop/bureaucrat status because I had not been editing regularly. I still visit as often as I can (compared to another user with bureaucrat status) and also contribute. On at least one occasion, recently, for some reason I was unable to save any of my edits. Some of the pages that are still incomplete are currently locked for editing so only bureaucrats or sysops can apparently edit them. I can understand why this might be desirable for the home page but not for other pages. I believe I should have sysop &/or bureaucrat status based on my level and quality of contributions to the wiki. I am not asking for both sysops to be demoted, just to be allowed to have the same status since I contribute and have contributed much more than one of the users who has that status.

You might need to Contact staff for the account part if there's any and be sure to edit via your old account specifically. Plus, "18:57, June 19, 2015: Wanderer23 (talk | contribs) changed group membership for Miss Parker from (sysop) to (none) (been inactive for over 60-90 days may reply for admin later)" is something you ought to check. I happen to have engaged Christy and she is not very co-operative towards me nor is the other person whom she made Sysop over me, who has very few edits compared to mine.
- Hello. I'm sorry, but staff does not intervene in local wiki decisions about who to promote except in the case where there is nobody to grant the rights. There are two active bureaucrats and the wiki is not eligible to adopt.
- In terms of the page protections, while a few of the pages are protected against anonymous edits, I do not see many (if any) content pages that are fully protected to limit editing to sysops; however, if you have a problem editing a specific page you should ask the admins themselves about it.
- Your rights log shows that you have never held bureaucrat status on this wiki, although you were an admin for a long time. You are correct that one of the current bureaucrats demoted you for inactivity a couple of years ago. I'm sorry you do not get along well with the current admins on the wiki or feel that you can ask them for admin status given their low activity level; but you will need to go through them for rights as long as they are both editing. Or if they become inactive again (both were inactive for over a year and have only recently returned) you can request an adoption at that time. -- Wendy (talk) 03:19, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
