Adoption requests Togainu no Chi Wiki

What is your username? T.G. Punk

Please link to the wiki here:

How many edits have you made on that wiki? 113 and counting

How many days/months have you been editing there? 7 days and counting

On the Special Pages → Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? Hotspot . Last edit was made May 14 2011.

Any other information:

When I found the wiki, it was in a pathetic state. I've created tons of new articles and added lots of new information to the lackluster ones since then, but there's things that need to be done still that require admin tools. I believe my contributions more than make me eligible for adoption and seeing how Hotspot is the only admin/bureaucrat on the wiki and hasn't edited for nearly 4 years, it only makes sense that someone adopts the wiki. It should also be noted that I have tried contacting the admin but got no response and judging from his activity on other wikis he's been editing, it seems he has given up on wikia for quite some time now and doesn't seem like he's returning.

Hey there! A bureaucrat, while not active on the wiki, last *logged on* just the other day. *I* suggest you message them asking for the Rights. You never know, you just might get them sooner. Cheers! Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
To JosephHawk: I already messaged the only bureaucrat on the wiki more than 5 days ago. No response. If he really did log in, then he either ignored my message or just didn't care. EDIT: Nevermind that, looks like you're talking about a different person. That's weird. I checked the ListUsers sysop and bcrat lists and only Hotspot's name came up in the results. Well, seeing as how the founder has only 2 edits and hasn't edited since 2010, I think I'll wait till the staff give me the rights. T.G. Punk (talk) 00:24, December 23, 2014 (UTC)

Hello again! Your last edit was a dew days ago. Remember to please continue editing at least every day, as Staff needs to make sure you're still interested in adopting. Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
To JosephHawk: I've pretty much built the place up there. Check my contributions. There's not much more I can do on that wiki without rights. I think I'll reserve my final efforts for when I get the rights. No point wasting time on a pretty much dead wiki if I'm not gonna get admin rights in the end, anyways.
Speaking of which, what's taking staff so long? It's been over a week and I still haven't gotten a response from them. Instead, I get this patronizing trash from you. Hmph. T.G. Punk (talk) 14:29, December 31, 2014 (UTC)

Adoption requests are evaluated in the order received, which takes 7 to 14 days or so. And because the holidays, it has taken a little longer. You can't blame a Staff member for taking some time to spend with the family during the holidays. As for my "patronizing" message, I am only stating what Staff would say if they saw this request as is. You can look at several past requests, and see that Staff wants to make sure users are still interested in adopting the wiki. And the only way they can tell that is by their activity on the wiki. To JosephHawk who has his own personal response template: I would think that if staff can take time off to get a life during the Christmas holidays, I'm also allowed to not edit wikia for some time. Besides, as I stated earlier, I basically made that wiki. There was pretty much nothing there in regards to mainspace articles before I started contributing to it. So, if that's not enough to earn me my admin status there, I don't know what is. Last but not least, all staff has to do to find out if I'm still interested in adopting that wik is READ this adoption request message. Yeah, still interested. T.G. Sorry buddy, I didn't mean to ruffle up your feathers there. I just wanted to make sure that Staff knows that you are still interested. These aren't rules I've made up on my own, but from what I've seen and experienced with my own adoption requests. Just trying to help out. (By the way, that's not my own personal template. It's used for anyone who is not Staff that is responding to a request). Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
To JosephHawk: Just trying to help out, eh? Curious way to spend your time, Joseph. All is well then. T.G. Punk (talk) 16:22, December 31, 2014 (UTC)

To each their own. ;) Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
Indeed. Don't you think staff has taken a bit too long with this request though? It was filed December 22nd. T.G. Punk (talk) 09:13, January 2, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it has been a little long. Usually, the longest adoptions go is about 2 weeks, but as stated above, the holidays have probably increased that. I wish I could help out, but you're still just gonna have to be patient. :-/ Shyguy-emoticon.gifJoey (talk)
I see. What an annoyance. T.G. Punk (talk) 13:40, January 2, 2015 (UTC)

I apologize that answering the request took 2 weeks; it is normally closer to 1 but, as Joseph said, the holidays cause some delay.
I've given you the rights. Good luck with the wikia (and with cleaning up all those duplicate images). -- Wendy (talk@fandom 05:26, January 5, 2015 (UTC)
Although long overdue, thank you. T.G. Punk (talk) 05:31, January 5, 2015 (UTC)
