Adoption requests Uncovering Cicada Wiki

Username: BrotherBox

Wiki URL:

Current edit count: null

How long I have edited there: Since its inception

Last admin to edit and when: Not sure, information seems to have disappeared

Other information: I was among the founding members of this wiki and have made several contributions to this wiki in its early stage, but have stepped off of active editing. I am very certain to have made edits in the past, but my user page does not display that. I assume information has been lost or I have messed up with my user accounts, I am not positive about that.

Due to recent developments, the dedicated community behind the wiki needs to freshen up articles, add information and be able to monitor user interaction. The former admin, Cuboid3301, was last active on January 8 2013 and we cannot reach him at the moment. Therefore I request ownership status in the wiki to the extent possible. I had administrative privileges in the past, but they seemed to have been stripped; my place in the community however has been a stable one for almost a year at this point.

If you require further information or proof of community consent about this decision, we can be reached in the IRC channel #33012013 on Freenode; I go by the monicker "brotherBox".

Thanks in advance.

Haya! Bad News, Good News. Bad: the wiki is ineligible for adoption as the Founder has been active within 60 days. Good: He made you an Admin on Jan 5th, so adoption is unnecessary.
Congratulations! --Love Robin (talk) 01:11, January 8, 2014 (UTC)

Hi. The wiki is eligible for adoption, and (thank you for setting me straight) I see that it is your old account which has the rights.
In order to adopt the wiki we will need to see you actively editing with your new account. It doesn't need to be a lot, but regular consistent edits every day or two. Please also start a community discussion about new leadership for the wiki. We can appoint more than one bureaucrat, or a bureaucrat and an admin, or whatever works for the community there. Give us a link to the conversation and we will check back again. -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 20:40, January 10, 2014 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for starting the blog. Per the majority of the comments there, I have given you and Lurker69 admin and bureacrat rights. Good luck with the wikia! -- Wendy (talk)@fandom 03:52, February 1, 2014 (UTC)
