- The chat server crashed periodically over the last week, but the underlying issue was found and fixed.
- We also fixed the "Error communicating with MediaWiki server" message that was appearing on chat for some wikis.
- The link on the Community Messages bubble was redirecting to Special:ActivityFeed, not Special:WikiActivity.
- An issue with our analytics software was inserting greatly inflated numbers into the Quick Stats part of Admin Dashboard.

- It's finally here (Part 2)! The redesigned editor goes out to all wikis with this release. Please leave comments and feedback directly on the blog post.
- Long URLs in the bloglist module no longer breaks text wrapping on Chrome.

- Profile: "Chatmod" will no longer show if someone has both that right and "Admin"
- The Wikia floating toolbar was occasionally hidden by Chrome and Firefox's status bar.
- The "Find a Tool" search field in the Customize Toolbar was not returning any results and is now fixed.
- There have been some more minor fixes on the New Wikia Editor: Preserving pasted text colour, IE8 aesthetics, and improving link formatting.

- The profile redesign will be launching this week (probably Thursday).
- Updates to the Admin Dashboard: the sidebar will be removed from Special Pages. Wiki navigation will be added back to the view, including "Random Page", the search box, and "Wiki Activity". - The redesigned editor will now be the default editor on all new wikis going forward. The toggle will still be available in Wikia Labs for at least a couple of weeks before it goes live to all existing wikis. We're continuing to fix bugs, increase the speed of the editor, and look at all of your suggestions.

Technical Update: August 3, 2011
This week's code release will be on Thursday instead of Wednesday of this week, due to some work we needed to handle on our servers. Below are some of the highlights of what will be included in the release.
- The Admin Dashboard will be going live to all existing English wikis this week, as announced here. The Wiki Progress Bar will also appear on wikis that have less than 250 edits total. (Since it's a just-getting-started tool, it won't be added to more established wikis.) This release will also come with an easier way of viewing your wiki's statistics.
- Some users were displaying incorrect Member Since dates on their profiles. This should now be fixed, so please let us know if it's not for you (and be sure to include a link).

- We're releasing two improvements to our Theme Designer: the ability to have a fixed background image (already live!) and the ability to have a semi-transparent background (releasing Wednesday).
