So what I want my signature to do is wrap around my entire post. The current signature I have is this:
This will probably only put that at hee bottom of my posts, but even that hasn't happened.

Despite the title of the thread, this is not what ThatCrimsonTomcat is asking for.
I've seen people with bordered Forum and Message Wall posts
Edit: It does apply the border, but it also applies to everyone else as well.
As I suspected. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to target just your posts using CSS alone. If you could link to some of these examples you have seen, perhaps we could help you reverse engineer the solution.
This wiki is where I got the idea from. Several mods on the wiki have such designs.
Just to make it easier on anyone looking around, some examples of the bordered Forum/Message Wall posts can be seen on this user's wall (I beg your pardon for borrowing your wall, Gen. Grevious1138).
The relevant CSS for making that happen can be found in the wiki's MediaWiki:Wikia.css page, under the "Admin and Moderator Comment Highlighting". More specifically, this seems to be the exact code that targets each specific user's posts:
.comments li[data-user="Gen. Grievous1138"] blockquote { background:#D8B958 url('img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140625215453/lotrminecraftmod/images/0/03/Admin1_120.png') bottom center no-repeat !important; border: 6px double #DC143C; }
only way it is small bar close to\around name, or js.
Indeed. As ThatCrimsonTomcat and Fngplg pointed out, that wiki is using custom JS to inject the CSS as inline CSS.
