While you definitely have more than 200 pages, right at the moment nearly half of them (165) are "stub-length" or [[Special:ShortPages|shorter than 300 bytes]]. You would need to have no more than about 75 in order to meet the spotlight criteria that stubs make up only 1/5th of the content or less. The game has been in early access release on Steam for some time now and has more recently been released on Xbox One. Zombie Escape Wiki
Hello, I'm the founder of the Zombie Escape Wiki and have recently completely revamped it to a better state. I wanted to popularise this modification for Counter-Strike: Source and it helped enormously for a lot of the newer players to get acquainted with many terms used in the mod and with help on the (most popular) maps. It has since gone down for CSS but since Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has gotten tons and tons of players and more are starting to discover the ZE world again, it would finally be a good time to request for a spotlight

The main page columns would need to be sorted out so they do not overlap on smaller-width ("Desktop") screens. You have a few uncategorized pages that would need to be sorted. Finally, there are more than 200 pages in the stub category; in order to be spotlighted you would need to have no more than 1/5th of your content (roughly 80 pages) in that category. Hi! So unfortunately Austin & Ally is reaching its series finale which airs January 10 so we would like a spotlight for the Austin & Ally Wiki. Encyclopedia Gamia (approved)
I'm not sure if Encyclopedia Gamia qualifies under the strictest interpretation of the rules mentioned on the Spotlight page. However, Gamia has a rather unique history and set of circumstances. Specifically, Encyclopedia Gamia, formerly Wikia Gaming has been the target of many merges of other Video Game wikis from across Wikia. It has also suffered from one particular user who imported ~17,000 articles from Wikipedia; this combined has resulted in broken articles and one big mess that is still being sorted out.
However, we have made numerous changes and improvements across the wiki. Encyclopedia Gamia now sports a dedicated infobox for video games, as well as several smaller ones used for non-gaming software, etc. It also now has fair use and image categorization systems, as well as an improved list of licenses for uploaded content. The work is nowhere near finished, but we now have a solid foundation to move the Wiki forward and bring it's outdated content kicking and screaming into 2016.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 22:36, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

My name is Rapmilo and I am the administrator and bureaucrat of LEGO Marvel and DC Super Heroes Wiki (legomarveldc.wikia.com)
I would like to apply for spotlight as I meet all the best practices requirements as outlined by the Wikia Spotlight page. In brief our wiki has 905 pages of which 20 are stubs (under 200 bytes). The wikia uses no profane or vulgar and has a customized and curated main page with links to featured articles. The wiki also has a customized community corner and a customized favicon and word mark.

Hello, it's me. I was wondering if I could get a Spotlight for my Wiki. No, not for an Adele Wiki, but for a Wiki dedicated to the American rock band Eagles, I just couldn't think of something good for the introduction. It is a Wiki about one of the most successful bands of all time, with hits such as Take It Easy, One of These Nights, Desperado, Take It to the Limit and, of course, how can I not mention Hotel California, consisting of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. But the Wiki reaches further than that; of course it's also about former members Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner and Don Felder and the (sadly) recently deceased founding member Glenn Frey. Their solo careers are included as well and there are polls where anyone can give his pick for the best Eagles songs and albums. Eagles Wikia is a quite new Wiki and almost as a whole created by me, but it's still far from finished. Because help is always appreciated, I would like to attract fellow Eagles fans and therefore I want to request a Spotlight for Eagles Wikia so we can Build the Perfect Beast (Yes! Finally! An Eagles reference! Or actually a Don Henley reference, but fair enough)

Plants vs. Zombies Roleplay Wiki

Seeing that there are many fans of Plants vs. Zombies who don't even go to the info wiki, I am requesting for my wiki, Plants vs. Zombies Roleplay Wiki, to be promoted.
All the requirements have been matched, however, we are right now in a mass demotion session, and the home page is under overhaul. The wiki is two years old, and is active - being ranked 1,000-1,200 WAM rank.

Hello. In order to be spotlighted FNAF Fanon Wiki would need a few tweaks. The mainpage does not have any links to the major content areas (eg. animatronics, gameplay, fanon) and could use a little bit of updating. There are also a bunch of uncategorized pages that need to be sorted out. The community-corner should be customized to something about the wikia. Finally, the content needs to be strenghtened a little bit - there are currently about 60 stub-length pages (less than 300bytes). You need at least 200 non-stub content pages, so you can only have about 30 total stubs with your current page count. Hello. Congratulations on reaching 200 articles! The wiki does need a little bit of tweaking in order to be spotlighted. The main page would need to be made a bit more dynamic -- the videos are nice but at the moment the page is just a long list of them and little else; it should have some links to major content (eg. songs, albums, movies) and possibly also one main "slider" image. You also need to fill in the mobile main page so any visitors on mobile devices will be able to see the main page more easily. Finally you would need to add some content to some of your pages; for a spotlight the wikia needs 200 non-stub (greater than 300byte) pages; right now about 45 of your pages are too short. Hello. In order to be spotlighted X-Men Movies Wiki would need a few small tweaks. Your desktop main page looks great, but you also need to customize your mobile main page. There are a small number of uncategorized pages that need sorting out. And finally, more than 1/5th of your content pages are stub-length (shorter than 300 bytes). You would need to expand/delete some of the pages until only 1/5th (currently about 235 pages) are stubs. Bible Wiki
Hi. I would like to request a spotlight for Bible Wiki, because we are going to really start making a push towards a Christian community. I expect this won't be up until after the 17th of Feburary (which is when we begin the community promotion). The only thing that doesn't fit with the critera, is that I blanked the community message corner a while back as it is one never used and when it is updated the box message has to be changed manually (it is something that is barely used across Wikia, perhaps deprecate it from the critera for spotlights?). The only requirement I have is that it utilizes a version of this image and that in the caption for the image mentions that Bible Wiki is a Christian community that collaboratively documents biblical history.

I'm not sure what you mean by needing to update the box message manually, but you can place a generic welcome in that spot that doesn't need to be updated again, and it would look far better than the default message currently displayed. The wiki has 392 articles without any stubs (except 3 disambig pages), an active admin, one picture and clear links to the most important content on the homepage, a filled out curated main page, a clear category structure, is not in the middle of choosing new admins or any other upheavals, uses the welcoming tool, has a customized Community Corner, a customized skin and doesn't use offensive languages or include inappropriate images.

Hello. Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands Wiki looks good, however in order to be spotlighted you would need to strengthen the content a little bit further. While you definitely have more than 200 pages, right at the moment nearly half of them (165) are "stub-length" or shorter than 300 bytes. You would need to have no more than about 75 in order to meet the spotlight criteria that stubs make up only 1/5th of the content or less. Meeting all criterias
Dragon Blaze is a mobile RPG, playable fable accompanied by strategic role playing elements and an unique art style.
The Wikia went through a lot. It initially almost met its dead-end, due to heavy inactivity and a lack of contributions. But loyal Editors were able to drag more and more attention to the slowly dying Wikia, by speaking about the problem in other DB-related forums. Finally, people began to recognize the wiki, and dedicated players volunteered once again to contribute their time and effort for a hobby that they all shared. This is where the current Admins, including me, come into play. From a wikia with barely 10 unique articles, we have grown it to a 430 page, 1k+ image, 52 videos and much more Blog posts and Category page large Wikia, with a visitor count of 3.000 people a day and a handful of dedicated Editors, over the past 7 months. Months that these Editors spent more time with editing the wikia, than actually playing the game. This Wikia has truly come a great way, what we left behind is struggle, stress and hard work, but just seeing how this Wikia changed, fills everyone of us with great happiness. So this Wikia lives on, loyal to the cry out of the Creator, whose founding words and motivations still echo through these articles. His founding words were:

Since it looks like spotlights are at least a couple months backlogged and we haven't had one in the last year, why not? We may be further into season 2 by then (only a few from the season have aired, probably before the season officially starts). You can use this image (from one of the first season 2 episodes, you can crop the top, and left, if needed) unless a better one appears between then and now.
