Shared templatesEdit

Has our move to 1.5 messed up shared templates enough to spoil all the tours? See http://genealogy.wikicities.com/wiki/Genealogy:Wikia_tour/Main_Page

I'm afraid they are very broken at the moment. The simplest of shared templates are working, but anything with inclusions is broken. It's hoped that this will be fixed with the next upgrade, which is expected very soon. -- sannse (talk) 11:51, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. Maybe each Wikicity that has a Tour can copy the templates with appropriate edits so that they work independently of Central? If so, I as a 2-time tour guide (half-planning to set up more) would appreciate a note about which elements of the templates have to be changed and how (ie to what sort of final form). Sannse fixed it all, a little later. Amended instructions on the main procedure page include the copying of the template as well as the category etc. Robin Patterson 01:07, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
