Description Edit

A one-minute video overview about the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Hawkeye's bow, its capabilities and characteristics as depicted in the MCU movies, and Avengers expanded universe.

Hawkeye’s unique collapsible recurve bow along with a mechanized quiver serve as the primary weapon of former Shield Agent and Avenger, Clint Barton.

The collapsible bow allows it to be easily concealed and transported. When deployed, the bow can swiftly re-assemble in one quick motion. When forced into close quarters confrontations, the bow can also serve as a durable melee weapon.

In the quiver, the arrow shafts and arrowheads are stored separately. With the blank, headless arrow shafts stored above the arrowhead payload at the base of the quiver. Barton selects a particular payload via the remote control in his bow's grip and the quiver selects the appropriate arrowhead, and assembles it to the shaft of an arrow. The arrow is then elevated out of the quiver so that it can easily be found and drawn.

Hawkeye’s trick arrow head payload includes: Explosive heads, Grappling Hooks, Incendiaries, Hacking bots, Burst shot arrows, Tasers, Pulse, scatter, and trap Arrows.

Marvel movies featuring Hawkeye's bow and arrows are: - Thor (2011) - Avengers (2012) - Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - Captain America: Civil War (2016)
