What is your username?
My username is Vampire King of Ooo.
Please link to the wiki here:
How many edits have you made on that wiki?
I have made roughly 576 edits to the mentioned wiki.
How many days/months have you been editing there?
Counting other accounts and whatnot, I have been around since the end of March.
On the Special Pages -> Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? I am fairly certain that the last admin to edit was around 2 minutes ago. It was a maintenance admin named Blugo34.
Any other information:
I am currently a maintenance administrator on the wiki, but I feel that I could be more helpful as a normal admin. Granted, I do my fair share of work, such as deleting our log of unused photos and things of that nature, but sometimes I feel I could better benefit the wiki by being one of the standard admins or perhaps even beareaucrats. I can say that it isn't an absolute must, but it would be nice.
Adventure Time wiki has 6 active Bureaucrats and 6 active Admins. There is almost no difference between a maintenance admin and a regular admin. Really the only difference is the title and color. If you want to become a regular Admin then ask the Crats on AT wiki and stuff :3 ♠M1870♠ 05:48, September 10, 2012 (UTC)
(Not Wikia Staff by the way) VKO, the Wikia adoption requests are meant for Wikis that have inactive admins or bureaucrats to give a normal user the chance to gain control of a wiki that is basically... abandoned or leaderlessless. I don't always agree with M1870, but I will this time. The maintenance admin position is actually very good. It is basically a regular admin position minus some of the administrator stuff. You still have a good deal of control on the wiki which is something I would be glad to deal with on the AT wiki when I'm doing mass image uploads to replace older images, etc. Unfortunately, Wikia will not follow through with the request if there are so many active admins and bureaucrats. Your going at it all wrong. Just keep at it with what you are doing, garner some good contributes on the pages. That is what will help you get promoted when they need more admins/bureaucrats. 08:04, September 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. M1870 and True Sephiroth are correct -- if you wish to have more or different rights on the wiki then you need to speak to some of the other admins there. These requests are meant for people who want to gain admin rights on a wiki with no active admins. Good luck getting your new rights! -- Wendy (talk) 03:12, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
