What is your username? ZortLF2 04:39, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
Please link to the wiki here:
How many edits have you made on that wiki? 0, but 164 edits on another wiki on the same topic.
How many days/months have you been editing there? 0, but 2 months on the other wiki.
On the Special Pages -> Special:ListUsers when was the last time an admin edited, and who was it? November 20 2009 (the same day the wiki was created), by Haryo Kunto Wibowo.
Any other information: One day, Kevincentius decided LF2 deserves a wiki. I presume that he found that lf2.wikia.com was taken and its bureaucrat inactive, and so settled with littlefightertwo.wikia.com. Obviously the first URL is far superior to the second. Apparently he did not know he could adopt lf2.wikia.com.
Since then, I've come along and made some progress on his wiki, and am now the only active editor. I just want lf2.wikia.com because it has a better URL. I hope my edits on Kevincentius' wiki will count in place of the 0 edits I've made on the wiki I'm trying to adopt.
P.S. In case this is approved, is there an easy way to copy over all of the stuff on Kevincentius' wiki, or must it be done manually? I'd also want Kevincentius' wiki to be deleted, or to redirect to lf2.wikia.com.
This would allow people to type in the shorter URL and use it to link to pages, while taking advantage of the better google hit results from using the LittleFighter spelled out. [[User talk:Tyciol|+]]Yc 06:24, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
Hi. You don't need to adopt lf2.wikia in order to merge the two wikis, nor do you need to copy over any content from one to the other; we can close the abandoned one that doesn't have content and reassign the URL to the active one.
However the request to change the URL does need to come from an admin on littlefightertwo wiki. I see that Kevincentius has not edited in about a month, however he needs to be inactive for 60 days before the wiki is eligible for adoption. I suggest you contact him on his talk page about either gaining admin rights on that wiki yourself to help maintain it when he is not around, and/or whether he wants to request the URL change. If he does not respond, you can request to adopt the littlefightertwo wiki in a few weeks (after June 18th) and then request a URL change at that point.
- Hello, I'm an admin there now, so, yes, please do it. ZortLF2 14:49, May 31, 2012 (UTC)
