The Widget tag doesn't update unless you click save page. MarioGalaxy2433g5 {talk/contribs/Logs} 21:09, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
I confirm that. I end up with the tag saying one thing, and the actual widget on my sidebar, another. Elwynd 19:56, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Poorman's remedy
This poorman's update link can be useful in the type of situation described. I use it to allow the wiki reader to update a semantic query at their user-page.
[{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}?action=purge Update]
You could place this link in the side-bar if you wish. See: Forum:More links for the page footer#Workaround for details.

- It doesn't seems to work in the toolbox :
- See http://fr.guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_Wikia?uselang=fr

That link must be used either within the article body or inside a "Wiki Page in Widget" widget (which in turn can be located in your Monaco-sidebar). It is not intended for use in the Monaco-toolbox. Toolbox relies on magic words for page-focus links but has no magic word for
- the purge action
- the printer friendly action
- the semantic data drill down browser
- the semantic forms add/edit with form action
For a working example of all 4 in action see http://vsk.wikia.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Widgetwikipage Mind you the "Wiki Page in Widget" widget can be positioned directly below the Monaco-toolbox making links like these very convenient. --najevi 10:21, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- There was no need to copy that locally but thanks anyway.
- By the way, the correct wiki code for the purge link is :

Ah, Thank you! I like that better. --najevi 02:28, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
