So similar to how <createbox> allows you to create a new page, I was wondering could the same be replicated for a device that makes new sections, rather than new pages?

This is because I'd like on a certanpage where someone can post a new section and it'll preload some text.--Technobliterator 16:23, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

When you click "leave a message" on talk pages, &section=new is added to the url. Assuming that works for mainspace pages too, that's what you'd want.  Monchoman45  Talk  Contribs  Skystone  16:28,5/1/2011
Ok thanks we've got that sorted, but how do I make adding a new section preload content from a template? Or is that not possible?--Technobliterator 16:35, May 1, 2011 (UTC)
Adding &preload=Template:TEMPLATENAME to the url should do the job. Sovq 17:01, May 1, 2011 (UTC)
Tagging {{FAQ}}. Also, you can preload any kind of page, not just templates. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6 May 2011 2:00 PM Pacific
