Hi, I'm an admin on the Irwin Allen Wiki and I was wondering, is there any automatic programs that we can use on our main page for a "What happened on this day" section so we don't have to edit it every day? I've been hunting around the wikia help site and I can't find anything. Does anybody know? Thanks! — Mary (talk) 21:51, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, you can do that with templates. You'd need to make a page for each day with the date, and then have the template put the content of the page where you want it to go. If making 366 pages to do this is acceptable to you (maybe we can get by with month pages), I can get more specific and help you set this up (including a link to create today's page if it doesn't exist yet). You may want to wait awhile for better suggestions, though. ;-) --◄mendel► 22:28, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
