On the Avatar Wiki, a user was abusing one of the fanons, so they did a User check on him. For some reason, he told me that the user had the same IP adress and browser as me. I was blocked forever because now the admin thinks i have used this account as an alternate account to abuse. But i haven't! All i was doing on the wiki was writing a fanon, following all the rules. Can someone please tell me how to get myself unblocked, or at least have the chance to? I really want to get back to writing my fanon :(

Hi ShadowEden. As your IP and your browser was exactly the same as the other user we blocked on Avatar Wiki (which you've mentioned here), it is extremely unlikely you are different people. The similarity in the way both accounts wrote on the wiki, and the similar times the accounts were active (with only a gap of mere minutes between some of the comments, before and after which both accounts did not make any edits), further suggest this. Our policy is very clearly against sockpuppet accounts being used to pretend to be different people. If you have any further issues with this, it would be more productive for you to contact one of our admins by email. The 888th Avatar (talk) 07:41, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
