Can specific categories (or some other way of identifying groups of articles) be excluded from generating WikiStickies? In The Sims Wiki some articles, like a list of game cheats, don't need images and other articles like player stories I excepted from needing to be spell-checked. --a_morris (talk) 22:04, March 1, 2010 (UTC)
- As far as I know, there is no method to exclude specific categories or groups of articles from showing up. If you're having trouble with these automatically generated stickies, you could make some community stickies at MediaWiki:CommunityStickies. They show up first and so they could reduce the chance of new users helping where help wasn't needed. Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 05:48, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
The page you are looking for is MediaWiki:Nowantedimages. Files listed here are excluded as "needing images". I'm not sure if you need to list the namespace or not, but I can tell you its a list format like
* one * item * per * line
