Hi people. After visiting some wikis I have found that a lot of wikias are deserted with little or absolutely no useful content. Such wikis would be better off deleted, I think. It seems that there's no exact way of nominating whole wikias for deletion (AFAIK), so I'm gonna post what I find here (you can do the same). Also, if there is a small amount of useful content please try to merge it with another wikia (and say that you've done so). I also suggest that we create some kind of WfD-thing so we can clean out a bunch of deserted wikias. What do you say? --Lhademmor-rommedahL 19:17, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Dead wikis
  • Business owns - german Main page and 6 useful articles, that can be merged into other wikias - hasn't been edited since 2004.
  • Amtgard - 0 pages. Delete it.
  • Fresno - merge to cities. Has 2 articles.
  • Cm - merge to...somewhere. 19 content pages.
  • 31 minutos - consists of only 1 article (which has been nicked from Wikipedia, btw)
  • 3D Realms - absolutely NO useful content. Could be merged to a games-wiki anyway.
  • 50 Cent - no articles. Might as well be merged in a music-wiki or rap-wiki.
  • Myanmar - no articles at all. Merge to World.

I've added a few dead wikis to the list. --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 19:21, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

And 1100 wikis that contains 10 or less articles... Some projects are successfull, some not, some will be useful in the future, some maybe not, but from what I know wikis will not be closed anymore becouse of no content, but only on founder's request (if nobody made any edits there) or bocouse of violated copyright or other law problems. Rataube has come up with a list of wiki that might be combined into the Literature Wikia. (Some are also noted as doing fine on their own.) See related wikias on Literature. --CocoaZen 02:08, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Oops, Rataube had already posted a good summary here at Forum:Merging_literature_related_wikis. --CocoaZen 02:17, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
