The new opening tables in a pop out window is nice, is there any way to disable it on a certain page?

This table is massive (only a tiny amount is on at the moment) so past the 'more from wikia' box, there is just a load of empty space which could easily be utilised. Phalanxii 13:13, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

After receiving no reply, I mailed special:contact and got this reply:

There is not a good way to do it at the moment, but I believe I have seen this
topic discussed at forums.wikia.com. If you don't see a thread there, I would
recommend starting it and waiting for a response. There is some sort of CSS
implementation one of the forum users came up with for handling the extra space
that appears below the right hand boxes.

The most no-brainer method of 'disabling' the pop up table on one page would we making the table fit article space. That means giving it a fixed width of, let's say, 655px. Your table looks like it's just a bit wider than that so it shouldn't be a problem in that article. That should 'disable' the feature on that one page. About the space under the 'more from wikia' box - I've seen a floating ad that uses all that space to bug me whenever I scroll up or down so trying to use that space could sooner or later lead to ToU violations :/. Yeah, I'm aware it doesn't completely fit, but I haven't gotten round to changing it. Perhaps doomlord wiki shields is a better example. I've not seen an add like that before (if one comes onto the wikia, then I'd gladly obey the ToU and edit the table of course) and otherwise it's just wasted space...
