According to Help:Edit count, I can make the number of my edits for a certain namespace appear by doing this: {{Special:Editcount/C Teng/NAMESPACE}}
and replacing NAMESPACE
with the namespace name. This works for all namespaces except the mainspace, where putting /Main
doesn't work. It used to (putting anything after /
would have worked), but it doesn't anymore. Is there anyway to make my mainspace edit count appear with the template? → C Teng [talk] 00:12, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Namespace 0. --Zapwire (invisible leather tardis) 19:28, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
- Special:Editcount/C Teng/Namespace 0.
- It works, thanks! I've tried this, too, and it works:
{{Special:Editcount/C Teng/0}}
→ C Teng [talk] 21:01, December 18, 2009 (UTC)- Wait, that's my total number of edits, not mainspace. It doesn't work. Are you thinking of Special:AllPages? → C Teng [talk] 21:13, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
- Putting an unreconized string as the namespace name will return all edits. — TulipVorlax 01:31, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
- Okay. Then, does anyone know what I should put for the mainspace? → C Teng [talk] 14:50, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
- The editcount template doesn't work for main namespace. There's no special word for that namespace. And is strange that nobody have filled a bug about that [1] --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) -WikiDex 19:20, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

I've decided that this thread needs a response. Putting a slash (/
) after the username, or putting anything after the slash, now works. :) —C Teng(talk) 00:28, February 24, 2010 (UTC)
