My question is short and simple. Is it possible to extend the width of a page to full resolution, like the main page? I clearly know it is currently not an option on Wikia, but let's say I'm trying to design a new main page? Doing it in a sandbox would shrink it all to 75%. Toying with it on Main Page is something nobody would love to endure watching as their browse. My only current solution is submitting and comparing edits as it's the only section on Wikia that does not have that sidebar, but it's forcing me to publish too much.--Zikkun (talk) 01:07, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
- There are several things you could do to get a full-width test page. I recomend that you try one of the following:
- Use some code in your personal CSS to make the content area of your test page full width. (If you use the code below, replace
yourtestpagename
with the actual title of your page.)
- Use some code in your personal CSS to make the content area of your test page full width. (If you use the code below, replace
.page-yourtestpagename .WikiaRail{display:none;}
.page-yourtestpagename .WikiaMainContent {width: 100%;}
- Or switch to the Monobook skin in your preferences, since it has a wider content area.

- Another option you have available is you can make your very own personal testing wiki at zikkun.wikia.com, then copy/paste your code from your main wiki (including all necessary templates, images, js/css etc) to your test wiki's main page. Tweak it on your test wiki, then copy/paste it over to your main one. Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 04:04 UTC, Tue, 19 June 2012
