There's no reason user talk pages can't coexist with message walls. –Throwawaytv 20:14, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Unfortunately, they are mutually exclusive and the wikis that have enabled them, enabled them because they preferred the Message Wall. Just do what others (like Monchoman45) have done and redirect your Wall to a talk sub-page for discussions instead. Rappy 20:19, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
This is why this is a feature request, not a support request. –Throwawaytv 16:02, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
Wikia intends that they are to be mutually exclusive. I am not sure how far this would go as a request. Either way, feature requests aren't put on the forums. Please send this to Special:Contact/general. Rappy 16:40, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
There is no reason for each other to be enabled at the same time; it would mess up the wiki and both are forms of communication pages. -- 16:58, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
There is no reason for both of them to not be enabled at the same time. Indeed, it would be infinitely better if you could have both active if you wanted to. If you use your own userspace as a sandbox area, it become impossible to use it in many normal ways with MessageWall active. -- ForestMonthZero (talk) 09:08, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
If you do get Wikia to implement that, please update this thread. -- ForestMonthZero (talk) 09:08, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
