Please can you avoid unnecessary use of a flash plug in. Many people don't have this. Its OK for non search sites but not for search. Wikipedia realised this but not Wikia. This makes wikia unusable without flash. Try it and you will find out that this is the case.

- As far as I know, Wikia only uses Flash with embedded YouTube videos. Otherwise, you shouldn't have that much trouble. Is there a particular Wikia that you're having trouble viewing? - Where are you having a problem with flash? If it's the content, then this was a decision made by whoever editied the page to add a youtube video. It shouldn't make the page unusable, though you won't be able to see the video. We do hope to extend video options in the future, and to make videos available via a wider choice of platforms rather than only via flash. Angela (talk) 21:16, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
