Could I request that Google maps be enabled over on WikiJET please? I imagine that we will get many articles describing particular places, and seeing as finding your way around in Japan is notoriously difficult (the streets often have no names!) these Google maps might come in handy. Somebody seems to have installed the maps extension on the AachenWiki, but Google complains about an invalid key on every "edit page". It would be if somebody could fix this problem. Thanks! -- MarkWiesemann 12:13, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Problems in using Google Map Extension at www.scratchpad.wikia.com

• 1)syntax: selctor="no" does not work; selctor always appears on map. i.e. see [1]
• 2)syntax: scale="yes" does not work; scale does not appear on map.
• 3)when editing and saving the googlemap tag, the change does not reflect on page instantly. I always observe that no map appears on the page at all after saving googlemap tag. It takes a few days that I can see the map on the page. This is inconvenient for editing the page.
• 4)Old version of Google Map Extension? Map editor's at demo site looks different from scratchpad.wikia's map editor. Scratchpad.wikia's map editor does not help to make googlemap tag very much. Please install the latest version : 0.7.7 (2007-02-28).
