I am the founder of a wiki and I want to know just for reference how to make users into Bueracrats Jimwitz 19:06, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Go to Special:Makesysop on the wiki that you're a bureaucrat on, type in the user's name, check "Set bureaucrat flag", and click "Set user rights". If you just want to make a user into a sysop/admin, leave the "Set bureaucrat flag" unchecked. G.He(Talk!) 19:09, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

So you can't make someone into a bureacrat without making them into a sysop. Jimwitz 20:36, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Basically. There's no point for someone to just be a bureaucrat since the only thing they'll be able to do is make sysops, and they can simply then sysop themselves. G.He(Talk!) 20:47, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
