Our wiki home page (www.lahomeless.org) needs to be organized better than the current layout. Although I have extensive CSS skills, I don't know my way around Wiki. I've even purchased a wiki manual, but it does not show me, step-by-step, how to make columns and place existing content within them. For example, I'd like the layout to have a single column for the top item (Welcome content) and then a two column format below it. I've looked everywhere on the Preferences panel, but the only thing that is remotely similar is the Skins. I just wish to construct some columns. Thanks for your help. —This unsigned comment is by Mcasanova (wall • contribs). Please sign your comments by adding "~~~~" in the source editor.
- Wow, that wiki has it's own url, but is it a new wiki ? I mean, there's a few others Wikia wikis with it's own domain but...
- Oh ! I see, the true URL of the wiki is http://lahomeless.wikia.com.
- Now, for your question, i'm affraid you can't change the skin this extensively. I mean, you can have columns in the Main page code, that's easy. But, you dont need to modify any CSS for that.
- You simply put a table with the number of columns you want. Like on ROSE Online wiki. — TulipVorlax 20:41, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
